14th Annual Spring Tune Up! Host: VON Hamilton, Hospice Volunteer Service Date: Tuesday May 3rd, 2011, 8:30am – 4:00pm Location: Royal Botanical Gardens, 680 Plains Road West, Burlington, Ontario What: The 14th Annual VON Spring Tune-Up is a full day event for those working in Hospice Palliative Care. This event is a day of self-care and re-energizing for those individuals who give so much to those for whom they care. The theme for this year is “Mind, Body and Spirit Wellness”. This event is open to all volunteers, particularly those who interact and support individuals with a life-threatening illness and/or their caregivers. Cost: $20 for VON volunteers, $35 for other registrants. Cost includes continental breakfast, lunch, refreshments, educational materials and access to the Mediterranean Garden and other exhibits within the RBG main building.
