|[NS-L] Louisbourg Muster Rolls -- Possible Site!|
|"Muriel M. Davidson" <email@example.com> on 08/18/2000|
To all, especially Leslie and Margaret:-
I have not really had time to go through all the names on the LOUISBURG
site, but let's give it a try!!!
Click on: http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/Farm/7843/poll.html
Click on OTHER LINKS
Find DOWN HOME - FLAT ROCKS
http://homepages.rootsweb.com/~downhome/ [Very unfinished]
On NOVA SCOTIA LINKS click on "LOUISBURG"
A nice description of the Fortress of Louisburg is there, including a site map.
Go to PARISH RECORDS -- the earliest year is possibly 1700 for Baptisms,
Marriages and Deaths -- many, many names.
If anyone happened to be at Louisburg during one of the many years,
the person should be listed.
Use either the long road (first URL) or direct (second URL) to get to LOUISBURG.
