[TSL] East India Merchants

I have noted that East India Merchants ceased to exist as a legal entity in 1873 yet in the London Directory of 1884 I found an entry for Jas. Finlay & Co. East India Merchants @ 34 Leadenhall St. 
Is it possible to find out how many ships were involved & what was being traded?
