Hi Patty!

Those rolls sound real interesting. I did not know they broke them down
by ethnic groups either...interesting. Sue is the big one on the Quebec
arrivals - so I know she will be able to answer all your questions. She
went to the Archives today - so when she gets home, I'm sure she'll post
an answer to you.

I knew a lot of Swedes went to Quebec - Sue has been working with some of
these also, mostly Norwegians. She was telling me how hard they are to
read.

Let us know what records your able to extract - should be interesting.

Do any of the ships list the crew members? I'm looking for my great
grandfather who was suppose to have been a sailor - I assume on a
Norwegian ship. So I'm curious about the crews.

Anyway, Sue will get back to you later on for sure.

Thanks for writing and telling us what you found, sounds so interesting!

BTW, people are always asking about borrowing films on rental, maybe you
could tell us just what all it took to get the films from AGLL, how much,
how long it took, etc.

Thanks again!

Sharon
