[TSL] Germany>Antwerp>New Orleans>1852

According to the U.S. Civil War records of Peter NIMM, his father and mother
Peter NUMM (with an umlaut) or NUEMM and Anna Maria ALFTER sailed from Antwerp
to New Orleans arriving in 1852. They had four children with them--John, Maria
Kathrina, Peter, and Margretha. They came from Dondorf in Westphalia and
eventually settled in Watertown, Wisconsin. I understand that passenger lists
from Antwerp to the U.S. were almost all destroyed but does anyone have
anything on this? Are there arrival lists for New Orleans for 1852 somewhere?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Dana Kellerman
