The London Times of Oct 7, 1857 reported the sailing:
Liverpool, Oct 6.
Sailed.--The Invincible, for Melbourne--the Lady Hood, for Galle.
From the London Times of June 2, 1858 is a more interesting ad:
AUSTRALIA.--Invincible.---WHITE STAR
LINE of British and Australian Ex-Royal Mail Packets, sailing
from Liverpool to Melbourne on the 20th and 27th of every month.
Passage money £14 and upwards.
It lists Johnson still as the captain and 1,767
register tons and 5,000 tons burden.
Regards..
