Looking for Imigrant ship information on two relatives that came to America from Hordaland, Hamre (near Bergen), Norway in 1901. I have a date of 03/07/1901, but not sure if that is the departure or arrival date. Thanks, Scott Thompson

Marj,
Thank you very much for trying.
found the article in the Times which you mentioned but as you say - no
ame mentioned. I'm assuming at the moment that the destination was
ustralia but with so little to go on it is difficult. He might not have
een an assisted passenger.
Many Thanks
Pat

Pat
This is a hard one. I did find an ad in the Sept 1, 1852 Times for the
Colonial Land and Emigration Commissioners and they had a vessel sailing
on Oct 11 from London then making a stop at Plymouth - name ship name in
the ad. Without a little more to go on it is difficult.
