Joanne,

Have a squizz at this site:
http://users.cybercity.dk/~ccc13656/uk/archives/archives.htm

I had a look, and this was found. Possible match for you?
Name: Mortensen, Vilhelm,
Occup: Arbejder,
Age: 26,
Destination: Queensland,
Contract Nr: 2658,
Registration date: 10/30/1878,
Birthplace: , -
Birth Parish: , -
Last Residence: Aarhus,
Dest. Country: Australien,
Comments: ,-
ID Code: I7879M1314

I searched just by putting Mortensen in the name field. His entry is
quite a long way down, and the dates are not totally chronologically
listed.Queensland was the destination of quite a number of Mortensens -
I noticed a few for 1871, possibly a sibling went out earlier or later
than him? You could do some searching with narrower restrictions in the
search fields and see what comes up.

I found this site thru this other site:

Hope this is helpful, Good luck
Regards
Anne Blyth
