I am searching for a ship that carried my sixth great grandfather Richard
Parks to New York between 1750 and 1800. I realize that records are scarce
but if anyone could guide me in the right direction. Richard Parks came from
Scotland and he may or may not have traveled with his wife Betty McCune (f.
Ireland) and possibly their children. The one child that I have is Edward
Parks. I am pretty sure they came to New York as Edward's son George Parks
was born in New York. Can someone at least guide me in the right direction.
I noticed that most records kept on Passenger list were after the 1800.
However, I KNOW there were ships way before that!!!!
Can anyone help, PLEASE!!!!
