Hi Martin,

Saw your reply to Johno, and am wondering in your records if you have
any mention of the former South Australian ketch "Harold" which was a
part of the US Army Small Ships Unit please?  Her US designation was
S-58.   She was a command post boat and also a radio communications
vessel.

I am aware of Bill Lunney's book "The Forgotten Fleet" and have
corresponded with Bill for some time.   Also aware of the various
theories around the place, such as sunk, lost thru enemy action, but
none of these to my knowledge has been documented.  My main query is
what became of the vessel.  She does not appear in WWII Disposals
Registers, which leads me to think that she did not leave US hands
before she met her demise or whatever.

Hope you may come up with something, anything.  Thanks.
